Gordon R. Greenberg

In Memorium 1946 – 2016 

Dr. Greenberg was a Professor of Medicine at University of Toronto and former Head of the Division of Gastroenterology at MSH (1992-2002). Dr. Greenberg was a leader in the gastroenterology community both in Canada and internationally. He had extensive clinical experience in the management of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and had spear -headed important clinical research in IBD therapeutics and nutrition.   Through his research and clinical management, he advanced the understanding of IBD and enhanced the care of patients everywhere. He was a great mentor, great teacher and patient advocate. He is sorely missed by his colleagues, residents, students, friends and patients.
