Jennifer is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Gastroenterology at St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton, Ontario, and a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Masters in Nursing and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program (specializing in Gastroenterology) in 2008.

Also a graduate of McMaster University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, Jennifer has worked alongside Dr. David Morgan, Gastroenterologist and the Deputy Chief of Medicine for St. Joseph’s healthcare as a research coordinator, clinical RN and Nurse Practitioner for 19 years.

Jennifer is an active member of the Canadian IBD Nurses (CANIBD) Steering Committee and the Conference Planning Chair for the CANIBD annual national conference in Toronto as well as continuing educational events in IBD for Nurses across Canada. She also serves on the national Scientific Steering Committee of Mentoring in IBD.
